Conscious Embodiment with Forest Franken
Wednesdays 2:30-3:30pm PDT
This class combines Authentic Movement, dance/movement therapy and mindfulness principles to support resilience in times of stress and to access the body’s innate wisdom.
Through the discovery of organic movement and the practice of compassionate self-witnessing, the integration of body, mind and spirit is made possible.
This class does not require any prior experience: you will be gently guided through inner awareness and movement explorations that cater to each individual’s body and pace.

*Authentic Movement is a contemplative practice offering a gateway, through the body, into the depths of personal and transpersonal experience. Authentic Movement involves the study of embodiment through a developmental process made manifest through the relationship between a mover and a witness.
** Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) is a creative arts therapy integrating psychotherapy with body awareness, movement, and expression.
